1. What age group do you accept?
Hezdeb College Ibadan admits pupils and students from approximately age 4 through 17–18 (Senior Secondary School completion). We offer Primary School, Junior Secondary School (JSS1–JSS3), and Senior Secondary School (SSS1–SSS3). Admission into Primary 1 typically starts from age 5–6. Placement is based on age, academic records, and entrance assessment, where applicable.
2. What are your school hours?
School operates from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday. We encourage punctuality as the school gate closes at 8:15 AM for security and orderly commencement of classes. After-school care or extracurricular activities may be available on request (additional fees apply).
3. Do you provide meals and snacks?
No, we do not provide meals or snacks at this time. Parents are responsible for providing their child's packed lunch and any snacks. We have a safe and supervised area where students can eat during break periods. Hot water is available for those who bring flasks or thermoses.
4. Is your staff certified and trained?
Yes, all our teachers and support staff are qualified, with many holding NCE, B.Ed., or higher degrees in relevant fields. They undergo regular professional development training, child protection workshops, first aid certification, and safeguarding sessions to ensure a safe and high-quality learning environment.
5. What’s your class size and ratio?
We maintain small class sizes for personalized attention, typically 20–25 students per class in Primary and 15–25 in Secondary sections. Our teacher-to-student ratio averages 1:15–1:20 depending on the subject and level, allowing for effective classroom management and individual support.
